about

We did an EP! We are making an RPG video game with the same name, but videogames take a while to complete so in the meantime, we're actually releasing this like we're a real band or something.

The first two songs are quite punky, the second two songs are quite pretty. We hope you enjoy!

You also get the tiny spells versions of the tracks (basically we made video game chiptune versions of them as well) in the download, and on side B of the tape! You can listen to them online over at http://tinyspells.bandcamp.com!

We're just waiting for the tapes to actually arrive, but those will be mailed out by the end of August at the latest.

We hope you enjoy the songs! Please feel free to share them and/or tell us that you like them.

Track Name: Reveries
it feels too late to be driving my car
I don't know where to go, but we wont get far
They saw aurora borealis up in the north east
But we'd better stop at services, get something to eat

I drove two hundred miles a weekend in my old car
For weekends spent in bedrooms, looking at stars
We slept a whole lot, and we went to shows
We ate pizza all the time with photos overexposed

And it feels good all the time, all these reveries
And I am getting lost in our memories
Track Name: You're So Careful
we started out at level 1
barely causing scratches, we've only begun
we're learning the rules, we're shown all the ropes
can we survive every fall like this? oh god I would hope

we're running faster than we know that we should
we're getting in battles that nobody would
I've died more times than I care to admit but you're
you're so careful

and i'm glad they retired that idea of a finite amount of lives
we don't need that challenge most of the time
i remember getting so far and having to start over
i remember getting so far and batteries running out
Track Name: Maybe We Should Hibernate
spending a good percentage of my life
just scrolling away, let's just get away from this
maps & wires & sounds & like 3 screens at least at all times
and all written down in pixels

when the winter ends, maybe we'll melt away
with memories of broken strings & dropped laptops
when the winter ends, maybe we'll melt away
& when the phone starts to ring, maybe we should hibernate

I have a problem with the fact that time is moving faster nowadays
I used to be able to get something done
but now the days are short& I'm just left here wasting time
trying to figure out if there's a name for this
Track Name: Making Notes
If I only wrote things down
this would never ever go wrong
creating meanless magic in silent sounds
we mixed it up listening at home
hearts still listening to the very same tones
it stuttered through, it stuttered through
descriptions of static too

i lost the words
i lost the words
i lost the words from the tip of my tongue

we found stories to hide in our hearts
some words etched in stones, some truth in false starts
we found translation, a sense of elation
a flood of hidden lines in the back of your mind
